The beauty of simple things

What if all the mind does is overthinks stuff?
What if everything we base our lives upon is just somebody's mind overthinking simple things?
Because we went past that point called survival and the point of having everything in abundance on earth that the mind just didn't know what to do with itself.
All those buildings, roads, cars, planes. Of course it is all the result of great technological development. But for what purpose?
On a bigger level, what is the purpose?
To make our lives easier, more convenient. And what is the convenience? So we can travel greater distances and make it around faster, but what is the purpose of that? Why do we need it in the first place?
Long time ago we needed to travel to find food and water, but hey most of us don't have this problem anymore. In fact we are a long way past the point where we had all the resources needed, coming to destroying them as a result of that same technological process.
Going completely different way.
Because the mind doesn't know stillness. The mind is busy and it makes our lives busy.
From survival to entertainment.

What if all the great painters just used to sit there getting high having no idea what are they doing with their brushes on the paper? And we are standing there in the art galleries with thoughtful faces trying to understand how, where, in which direction and what brush the painter used on his masterpiece.
And why did he picked up the brush and paint in the first place?
Because the mind is always busy.
We always need to do something. Some are better in algorithms so they follow others. And the others are explorers, who bring together 2 completely different things and find a use or purpose for it.
Because in this world it's all about 'hey how are you doing?'
So we can say something in return. Something considered worthy and important.
Because we overthink even the steps in this algorithm we often call life. when every day is about how to get from A to B, or its the milestone to bring you to the point B, where Z is the end. Death.
And then nobody knows if the cycle repeats and just keep going or if that is it? And if even that would be it, what is 'it'?

If you don't wanna take the chances, you usually move into the fast lane of life.
Everyday becomes its own A to Z.
We go to school to gain the knowledge to be able to follow the previously created sequences, things you can calculate, something that can be somebody else's J to K.
(and J to K doesn't stand for anything or not in the reference to anything, but you can overthink that too, as i just did. Or should I say I have just overthought your overthinking of me, where 'me' is this what I am writing, that in itself is pure overthinking.
The mind is busy.
It speaks and tells the fingers to type so they do. )
Then is everything ever written also just a result of overthinking? Overthinking the surroundings; situations; thoughts and things that kept the mind so busy it had to actually go out and spit it all out on paper.
Imagine all of the Shakespeare and Dostoyevsky?
And we sit in schools writing essays that asks us to overthink - what did the writer try to express by describing one character or another in the way he did? What can we say about his attitude to women?
We miss the purpose. Miss the mark. The real objective of life. And perhaps everything in it.
What in the bible referred to as a sin.
And even with the bible and the religions itself, we are missing the mark.
We make it into another algorithm. putting it all on the shelves.
So if you do this and don't do that, after Z you are going to heaven or hell or even back to A again.
There are many theories but don't worry there is a religion for each. Either way something to keep us busy, give us another purpose. Add on an extra step in our daily A to Z.
Because there is just not enough.
Because we haven't invented that many.
From brushing our teeth when we wake up in the morning to all another 100 things you just suppose to do - to live the life of 'normal' human being. Where 'normal' is defined by the society we live in.
Still not enough to keep 6 billion people busy 12 hours a day on this planet.

Take it to another level. we want to have a war, show off the results of our technological progress, kill lots of people. Because here you play a big game. Too much power and nothing to do with it.
And by the way the power is itself a product of this nothing-to-do thing. Overthinking, finding ways to make other people do what you want them to do. When your vision is too broad and the things you want to do are too big of a scale.
When going from A to B just doesn't do it. You want to go from english alphabet to arabic.
Letters. words. phrases. sentences. stories. books. languages.
If, while we are out here playing with the letters, somebody plays us as just the letters in some of the languages.
That is what I call on the large scale.
What is it that we can't just be? Be happy with what we have. Just be there in the moment. Not in your head, not thinking about the next thing to do or say.
Why can't I sit still and just be happy for the air coming into my lungs, for my body temperature remaining stable and my heartbeat regular.
And sadly some of us do, but hardly ever by choice though.
It is when you get that contrast of stepping into an ice cold water on a hot sunny day.
It is only when your life depends on whether you are going to make another breath, then you are aware. Then you feel it.
That purpose of life and living.
The beauty of simple things.
